Vehicle Pickup

• Confirm the pickup time and location in the ZEVO app or web dashboard.
• Take clear interior and exterior photos before starting the booking, including any pre-existing damage or cleanliness issue.
• Confirm the battery has enough charge and the vehicle is safe to drive.

During the booking

• Keep the interior reasonably clean and the battery above 10%.
• Smoking or vaping results in a $250 cleaning and deodorization incidental when supported by evidence.
• Notify ZEVO before out-of-city travel and obtain approval when Leaving the City requires it.

Return Process

• Remove personal belongings and trash. Significant cleaning issues may be submitted as an incidental with photo and invoice evidence; they do not automatically forfeit the full deposit.
• Return with an adequate charge, above the 10% minimum and consistent with the agreed return level.
• Take final interior and exterior photos.
• Return to the exact location in the rental agreement, then park and lock the vehicle.

Inspection and deposit review

The host has up to 72 hours after return to inspect the vehicle and submit required evidence. Any deposit deduction must be supported by relevant photos, inspection records, invoices or receipts, or itemized outstanding charges. An allegation alone does not automatically result in a deduction or full forfeiture.
