We're excited to have you join our innovative EV sharing platform. Before you start hosting, here are the essential things you need to know:

Critical Requirements ✓

Vehicle Registration: Your vehicle must be registered in the state where you're hosting - no out-of-state registrations allowed. In order to rent your vehicle out you MUST have current registration sticker, permanent plates, and toll tags installed on to the vehicle.
Insurance: We highly recommend maintaining your own insurance on your vehicles so that your vehicles have coverage when they are NOT rented on the platform. Please see Off-Trip Insurance For Hosts for our recommended insurance provider.
Fleet Key Instillation: We require all vehicle on platform to install a feature known as “Fleet Key” which allows us to access your vehicle in cases of emergency. Before you can actively list your car please follow How to set up your Standard Fleet Tesla Fleet Key which takes about 2-3 minutes to do!
Documentation: Maintain current registration, insurance, and toll tags at all times
Location Requirements: Park your vehicle in an easily accessible location - avoid restricted areas like private garages or gated complexes
Availability: Once you actively list your vehicle it can be booked in real time. If you have your vehicle as “listed” please have it ready to be picked up by a renter at a moments notice. ZEVO is a seamless platform that allows renter to book and pick up a vehicle without any physical intervention from the Host. Vehicle Listing Settings

Automated Systems: Our platform handles background checks and remote vehicle access automatically once guests are verified. No physical keys are needed!
Real-time Charging: All supercharging costs are automatically billed to drivers on a daily basis.
Toll Management: Toll charges are passed through to drivers every time you upload them to your host dashboard “Tolls” tab. We highly recommend doing this once per week so your guests stay up to date on paying for tolls. Please see Charging A Guest For Tolls for instructions on uploading tolls.

Typical Mileage: Most renters are rideshare drivers who average approximately 1,200 miles per week
Vehicle Readiness: Always ensure your vehicle is adequately charged before guest pickup
Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial for vehicle reliability and guest satisfaction. This is typically seen in the form of tire replacement for Teslas. Please see Tesla Tire Program for a cost effective solution!
