At Zevo, we are committed to maintaining high standards for vehicle cleanliness and addressing any policy violations effectively. Here’s what you need to know:

Responsibilities of Hosts

As part of our dedication to providing a clean and safe experience, Zevo requires that you thoroughly clean your electric vehicle before each trip. This includes not only the general cleaning but also ensuring that frequently touched areas are spotless. Focus on cleaning items like the keys, exterior door handles, trunk latches, and all interior surfaces.

If a guest arrives and finds that your vehicle does not meet our cleanliness standards, they can reach out to us to cancel the trip. In such cases, the trip will be canceled as a host-initiated cancellation, and you will not receive any earnings for that trip.

If you find yourself unable to meet these cleanliness standards consistently, consider putting your vehicle on hold or removing it from the listing to avoid cancellations. Frequent cancellations due to cleanliness issues might lead to a review of your account and negatively impact your host rating. In extreme cases, we may remove you from Zevo in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Host Rights and Actions

Guests are expected to return the vehicle in a condition consistent with normal use, which includes typical dirt from travel and weather. However, if the vehicle is returned in a state that suggests negligence or damage beyond normal wear, you have the right to report this issue and impose a cleaning fee.

Upon receiving sufficient evidence of a valid cleaning issue, we will charge the guest a cleaning violation fee and transfer those funds to your host account. In certain situations, we may also decide to remove the guest from Zevo.
