Updates to ZEVO TOS Rental Payment and Deposit Policy

1. Upfront Deposit

ZEVO requires all Drivers to pay an upfront deposit of $200 prior to the commencement of the rental period. This deposit is fully refundable at the end of the rental period, provided the Driver meets the following conditions:

The Driver is current on all payments.

The Driver does not have any outstanding balances at the conclusion of the rental period.

2. Rental Fees

2.1 Weekly Rental Base Fare

The weekly rental base fare is billed upfront on a weekly basis. The amount for the base fare is determined by the Host and is subject to change at the start of each week during the rental period, provided that both the Host and Driver mutually agree upon the change. Any changes to the base fare must be documented within the ZEVO dashboard to ensure that the Host, Driver, and ZEVO are all informed of the adjustments.

2.2 Additional Fees

Supercharging fees, tolls, and parking fees are billed daily. Payment reminders for the base fare will be sent to the Driver the day before the charge is processed by ZEVO.

  1. Payment Notifications Drivers will receive immediate notifications if their payment fails for any reason.

If the Driver fails to make the base fare payment and/or accumulates an unpaid balance of $100 or more in supercharging, tolls, or parking fees, ZEVO will issue three notifications:

First Notification: 24 hours past due Second Notification: 48 hours past due Final Notification: 72 hours past due

  2. Rental Termination

If the Driver has not made the required payment by the 72-hour mark after the due date, ZEVO reserves the right to terminate the rental period and revoke the Driver's access to the vehicle.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, the Driver acknowledges their understanding of the rental payment and deposit policy, as well as the potential consequences of late or failed payments.
