Supercharging Fees and Processing Costs
Processing Fee on Supercharging Costs
ZEVO charges a processing fee on all supercharging costs incurred during rental periods. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with tracking, processing, and reconciling electric vehicle charging expenses across the platform.
- Fee Structure: A processing fee will be applied to all supercharging costs billed through the ZEVO platform. The exact percentage may vary based on location and charging network.
- Billing Process: Supercharging costs and associated processing fees will be automatically charged to the payment method on file for the guest's account. Charges will appear as separate line items on your receipt.
- Third-Party Charging Networks: When using third-party charging networks (such as Tesla Supercharger or others), ZEVO facilitates payment on your behalf and applies the processing fee to cover transaction costs and platform overhead.
- Transparency: All supercharging costs and processing fees will be itemized in your trip receipts.
- Host Reimbursement: For hosts who cover supercharging costs as part of their rental agreement, ZEVO will process reimbursements minus applicable processing fees. Hosts acknowledge and agree that processing fees are non-refundable administrative costs.
Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for all supercharging costs incurred during their rental period, plus applicable processing fees, regardless of whether the charging was necessary due to normal use or excessive driving. Failure to pay supercharging fees may result in account suspension or collection actions as outlined in Section 7.3 (Debt Collection and Account Management).
