What is a pre-authorization hold?

A pre-auth hold is a temporary reservation of funds your bank places when ZEVO requests payment verification. The money has not left your account — it is being held while your bank confirms your card is valid.

This is not a charge. It is standard practice across most subscription and rental platforms.

How long does it last?

Holds fall off automatically within 1–7 business days depending on your bank. ZEVO cannot remove them — only your bank can.

When do they appear?

What should I do?

If you see a hold you do not recognize, contact your bank directly and reference "pre-authorization hold from ZEVO." They can confirm it is temporary and give you their specific timeline.
