Step 1: Stay Safe & Document Everything
- Move to Safety: Pull over to a secure location.
- Exchange Info: Get names, contact details, and insurance from everyone involved.
- Call the Police (if needed): If required, file a report and keep the report number for your claim.
- Take Photos: Snap clear photos of the damage, vehicles, and the scene from multiple angles.
Step 2: Contact Your ZEVO Host
Let your host know what happened. Together you’ll:
- Decide if the vehicle needs to be towed and where.
- Coordinate a Tesla service appointment if needed.
Step 3: File a ZEVO Claim
- Go to web.zevo.com or open the ZEVO app
- Tap the menu (top right), then select “Claims”
- Click “Start a New Claim” and upload your details and photos

Step 4: Rideshare Driver? Report It to Your Platform
If the accident happened while driving for Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash, you must also report it to them:
- Uber/Eats: (800) 353-8237
- Lyft: (855) 865-9553
- DoorDash: (855) 973-1040
Once they send you a claim summary, forward it to [email protected] with your claim number in the subject line.
