All ZEVO vehicles are set to Chill Mode by default. This reduces acceleration and caps top speed at 90 mph. It is a platform-wide setting — not specific to your vehicle.

Why does ZEVO use it?

Chill Mode protects the vehicles, lowers energy consumption, and keeps insurance costs manageable for everyone on the platform. It is a non-negotiable platform policy.

Can it be removed?

In some cases, yes — but only with host authorization. To request it:

1. Contact ZEVO support via Intercom
2. We will reach out to your host for approval
3. If approved, we will toggle it off — but only while your vehicle is parked

If your host does not respond, the request escalates internally. We cannot guarantee removal, but we will always get you an answer.

Chill Mode can only be toggled while the vehicle is parked. Never while driving.
