Understanding mileage limits and overage fees for your ZEVO booking.
Hosts have the option to set a mileage cap on their vehicles to protect against excessive wear and tear. These caps are designed to be generous for typical rideshare and gig work usage.
Vehicles with mileage caps will have one of the following daily limits:
225 miles a day is the default limit for all vehicles, while 150 miles and Unlimited can be turned off on any particular vehicle.
For weekly bookings, your mileage cap is averaged over the entire week. This gives you flexibility to drive more on busy days and less on slower days.
Example: If your vehicle has a 225-mile daily cap and you book for 7 days, you have 1,575 total miles for the week (225 × 7).
For daily drivers, the mileage cap is calculated on a day-by-day basis. Each day you'll need to stay within the daily limit.
If you exceed your mileage cap, overage fees will be applied:
These fees are automatically calculated based on the odometer reading at the end of your week or day. The precise time of this calculation is based off the time you started your booking.
