Understanding how your booking ends matters for your deposit, re-booking eligibility, and whether your account stays in good standing.
Normal Booking End
A normal end happens when:
- You complete your booking period and end it yourself through the ZEVO app
- The booking naturally reaches its end date
What happens:
- Your security deposit is released (typically within a few business days)
- Your account remains in good standing
- You can immediately start a new booking
- Any outstanding tolls or supercharging balances are billed to your account on the normal schedule
Booking Termination
A termination happens when:
- Your unpaid balance (base fare, tolls, or supercharging) exceeds $100 and you do not pay within the 24-hour grace period
- ZEVO intervenes due to a policy violation
What happens at termination:
- You are locked out of the vehicle
- You have an additional 24 hours to make the minimum or full payment to restore access
- Your booking remains active during this window but the vehicle is inaccessible
